To get Survival mode beat the whole game. Even Championship mode.

Play in Championship mode Face off 2 in the special options screen.
Defeat Towtruck once to unlock.

Face Off mode
Successfully complete Championship mode once to unlock face off mode against the Roadster.

Get The Roadster
Complete the first Championship round.
Then complete the Face Off 1 in the Special mode.
Beat the Roadster and then you'll Win it!

Vehicles in Faceoff
Bus- Beat the bus in Faceoff 5.
Saloon GT- Beat the Saloon GT in Faceoff 4.
Tow Truck- Beat the Truck in Faceoff 3.
