Highlight the "replay" selection. Then HOLD L + R and press A.

Never Lose Weapon Deadlocks
To never lose the Weapon Deadlocks, get a turbo control, and when it happens
have the turbo on and HOLD down the Square button until it's over. You'll
never lose.
Not even in Hard mode.
